SERMON TO THE NATIONS

THEME – THE LOVE OF GOD
TEXT – “BUT GOD COMMANDETH HIS LOVE TOWARDS US, IN THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US” ROM 5:8, JN 3:16, JN. 15:13, ROM 5:10

INTRODUCTION
The love of God moved Him to offer up His only begotten son JESUS to die for the world in order to save the world from her sins. The entire world of idolatry, violence, stealing, adultery, lying, cheating, killing and fornication was heading towards destruction in hellfire which is the eternal abode of all sinners and all that rejected the gospel, but the love of God towards man moved Him to give His only son JESUS who alone is worthy to save, to deliver and to redeem the perishing mankind, who came into this world as a man from his sins. Everyone born on earth is born to live, it was only JESUS that was born to die and to die for others to live and to be saved. Our self-righteousness and our religious inclination or religious affiliation and membership cannot save us from our sins, neither can our belief in our religious founder, creed or the ancestor’s faith outside JESUS and His death save us from our sins. Any person who dies without accepting JESUS as his or her lord and saviour shall end up in hellfire Rev 21:8.

NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND WHO IS JESUS?
There are needs to understand who JESUS is and what and whom JESUS is has constituted the greatest increase of sins and religions in our society. To know whom JESUS is will help the seeker to follow JESUS.

  1. JESUS is the son of God who came from heaven.

 

  1. JESUS came to seek and to save all lost sinners.
  1. JESUS is the savior of the whole world.

 

  1. JESUS died and was buried, but after three days in the grave He came out of the grave and lived over forty days, seen, touched and discussed with people.
  1. JESUS after His resurrection from the grave went to heave without wings, at the observation of many witnesses and is still alive today.

 

  1. Salvation from sins and all consequences of sin is only in His name and whoever believe in His name shall be saved.
  1. Miracles are presently working in His name and by His name the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, the dumb speak, and the sinners saved.

 

  1. JESUS is no more in the grave as other religious leaders are permanently in the grave waiting for their judgments, JESUS is not so and not in the same categories with them.
  1. JESUS is God’s incarnate who was born by a virgin without man and woman relationship on the bed, as that is common with natural birth of man.

 

  1. JESUS is the mediator between God and man and no person shall see God, live for God and serve God without through JESUS who is the door to the father (God).

 

  1. JESUS shall come again from heaven to take home all those who believe in Him, believe HIM and accept His total worth to entire humanity.
  1. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and nobody goes to the father but by Him alone.

 

  1. All sins on earth, whether lying, killing, fornication, adultery, stealing, fighting, deceit, gossiping, hatred, and all forms of uncleanness are against Christ Jesus and His father who sent Him to die for the world, because continuous sinning means rejection of the sacrifice made by JESUS with His blood for the salvation of the sinners. Rejection of JESUS sacrifice is seen as the greatest unbelief which has hellfire as its only penalty for the sinners.

WHAT JESUS NEEDS FROM YOU NOW
Just as you are and where you are, bow down your head, repent of your sins, be sorry for your wickedness, call upon Jesus, plead with Him to forgive you, tell the father to look upon you with eyes of mercy, pray and confess those sins, believe what JESUS did for you and tell God to cleanse you with the blood of JESUS and promise God not to disobey again, God through the death of JESUS shall forgive you and cleanse you from your sins.

 

NEXT WORKS AFTER YOU ARE SAVED
There are many works for the believers in Christ and these works are parts of the fruits of repentance and constitute why he is a believer in Christ, therefore a believer in Christ must be involved in the following under listed businesses of God and for God.

THINGS YOU SHOULD DO

  1. Search for a true gospel preaching church and join the brethren for true worship and fellowship.
  1. Buy a copy of the Bible and develop great interest of reading two chapters each day, which is one chapter in the morning and one in the night beginning with the New Testament.

 

  1. Make constant fellowship with brethren and attend their regular church services including Sunday school classes, Bible studies and other programs.
  1. Learn how to pray and make prayers, your daily habit, and give at least one hour to each day in your serious prayers.

 

  1. Avoid anything that will take you back to your old sinful life, but be closer to you God your father and other brethren of deep piety and great spiritual repute.
  1. Learn how to give, pay your tithes, offering donations, seed faith, give to widows, give to orphans, give to the poor, help the needy and make yourself instrument of helping others.

 

  1. Go out to evangelism, preach to sinners, and aim at bringing them to Christ, tell them whom JESUS is and share your experiences with them and finally pray for them and direct them to the gospel preaching church that can help them be strong in Christ.
  1. Join one God’s business or the other in your church, such as prayer group, chorister, evangelism team, drama team, women fellowship (if woman), men’s fellowship (if man), youth fellowship (if a youth) and any other organ of the church you like.

 

  1. Seek for spiritual gifts to help you work for Christ, also seek further for sanctification which is the heart cleansing of the believers.
  1. In all your contributions, remember to support and to sponsor the Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation which is a home for the poor, orphans, abandoned children, and the destitute and for the afflicted people. God will bless you, if you do.

They are taught and trained with necessary things at home which prepares them for their future homes, and make them to know what to do if they get their own homes and families in future.
  1. The children in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation also enjoy weekly Christian fellowships that help them to associate with other Christians, fellowship with the father, with the son and fellowship with the Holy Spirit and to be saturated with the joy of the Lord.

The children in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has a full day in a week for special prayers which help them to know how to pray, be closer to God, how to confess their sins and how to reconcile with God and with men. This prayer period is led by a true man of God from Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation.
  1. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has a special period of counseling the children, praying for the children and special period in a week to interview the child to discover their psychological needs, spiritual needs and social needs in order to help them and fully advise them on such issues. The counseling period is handled by a gospel minister with the Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation.

 

  1. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has a special day in a week which is mapped out for full Bible study when the children are taught all about Christian faith and Bible Holiness. The Bible study in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation for the children is handled by a true man of God in Emmanuel El Foundation. The Bible study is always last for three and half hours (3 ½ hours) which include question and answers from the Holy Scriptures. 
  1. The children in Emmanuel El Foundation has also a special evening in a week when the children are allowed to play, watch films and to interact with their fellow children in the compound which may last at least two and half hours. This is a period of playing, joking and life reflection which is supervised by a staff of the organization.

 

  1. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has specific period in a week when children will be allowed in the evening between 7pm to 10pm which is mapped out for reading their text books, exercise books, home works and other readings related to their schooling. This exercise is monitored by the academic staff of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation.
  1. The children in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation, in order to build and solidify their faith are made to worship with Redemption campaigners mission (Redemption Proclaimers Mission) every Sunday, between 8am and 12.30pm in order to refresh themselves, pass through Sunday school; enjoy choruses, praises, warfare prayers and holiness is compulsory to every children with home.

 

  1. Every children in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation enjoy sleep every night. They are advice to start any day with prayers and praises and also close it with prayers and praise which shall be monitored by a senior staff of this organization. The closing and sleeping period of the children are between 10pm and 10.30pm every day.
