The accident victims, the deformed, the hungry citizens and people with different case or problems are placed on monthly visit or monthly hosting when they shall be cared for, and when they shall be encouraged with food items, clothes, cash, specific gifts and attention to their cases and reports in order to solve such problems for them.
  1. The medical bills of the poor and the less privileged adults clients are paid by Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation with speed move to bring the sick out of the hospital after their treatments and discharged from the hospital.

  1. The adult clients, needy and all less privileged ones in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation are blessed with social and spiritual training which shall lead to their balanced thoughts and ideas of life issues.

There is unavoidable monthly seminars in the compound of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation for the poor, widows, deformed, victims, applicants, needy, less privileged and all interested candidates which are organized by the management of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation in order to build, equip, activate, revive, enlarge the ideas of the people, train the people, educate them and to help them understand life issues.

There is an inevitable weekly fellowship for the down trodden, less privileged, the poor, widows and all adult clients and victims in and with Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation for their spiritual building, revival and for their soul salvation from sins. This is always wonderful which is headed by a pastor with Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation.
  1. The people in Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation including the widows, poor, the down trodden and all afflicted people enjoy weekly prayers, this means, there is a day mapped out in a week when all will be involved in prayers in order to tell God their needs and to build up their faith also.
  1. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation also mapped out a day in a week, when the people both the sick, the weak, the poor, the down trodden, the widows, the oppressed and the needy shall come for special counseling in order to help them spiritually.

There is periodic vision building and special interaction with these classes of people in order to help them understand that every hope is not lost and that they are still useful and can achieve their vision. This vision building program is periodic which also help them to understand their worth before God which is more than ten thousand (10,000) times than their worth before the society.

These classes of people are encouraged to regularly attend any church of their choice on Sundays, but unavoidably bring reports of all they learn in Sundays and their derivations from the songs, choruses and the sermons from the altar. EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ORGANIZATIONS

El group of International gospel organizations is an evangelistic name, ministerial name, gospel name, missionary name, visionary name and JESUS ambassadorial name. It is the name that represents, binds, reveals and unites all gospel ministries, gospel institutions and all gospel organizations established by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev DR Mrs. Alice Zuriel Ononuju. The lord has used Rev Prof Emma to establish and build over fourteen (14) gospel institutions including churches, parachurch ministries, theological institutions, orphanage homes, outreach ministries, benevolent or charitable ministries, Christian publications and others on making. All these gospel ministries brought together under one umbrella are known and called “El group of international gospel organizations”. 

  1. THE HISTORY OF EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ORGANIZATION

The word “El” is the name of the Hebrew God who created the heavens and the earth and from there Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife DR Alice Zuriel Ononuju derived the name to call their ministries.

The burden to hand over all their property, vision and mission came after their marriage in 1983 at Port Harcourt and to call all their children, ministries and properties after God’s name, thus, all the six members of the family of Emma Ononuju are attached with El, and his family presently is called “The El Family”. The Ononujus family names below are attached to God and called after the name El.

  1. Emmanu – el
  2. Zuri – el
  3. Adi – el
  4. Uri - el
  5. Ammi – el and
  6. Eli – el.

These are the names of the six members of Ononujus family that is made of four children, one wife and one husband in one family, Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife are the president and founders of El group of international gospel organizations.

Nevertheless, the name El is older than their four children in their home. El as their family name was born in the year 1993, just three years before their first daughter was born. The vision to go by God’s name was born in 1993, thus, their ministries were attached with El and known as El and be accepted as such El Emancipation ministry 1993, El Theological college 1999 (without structure), El university of Theology and Biblical Seminary 2013 etc. Based on this, all gospel ministries of the Ononujus are united as El group of international gospel organizations.

 

2. ABBREVIATION OF EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ORGANIZATIONS

El group of international gospel organizations as an entity, as a body, as a gospel foundation and as an organization exists and lives. It is also known and abbreviated as “ELGIGO” which represents all gospel institutions of the Ononujus. ELGIGO is the abbreviation or the shortest form of calling El Group of International Gospel Organizations. ELGIGO is the word or the abbreviated form of El Group of International Gospel Organizations.

 

3. VISION OF ELGIGO

The vision of ELGIGO is to bring the gospel to the inner chamber of everyone and to carry the gospel to where ever man is found, to church the unchurched and to reach the unreached with the gospel of life. The vision is to express and to propagate the gospel with any ministerial instrument at hand including churches, ministries and theological institutions. The vision of the ELGIGO is to go into the world and preach the gospel.

4. PURPOSE OF THE EXISTENCE OF ELGIGO

The purpose of the existence of ELGIGO is to preach the gospel to all creature, to bring all to the true knowledge of Christ and to carry the gospel all over the world according to the Bible. It is to bring every human being to the real purpose and aim under which God created him for. It is to bring man to his normal senses, to his sound reasoning, to his spiritual stability and to his spiritual transformation. The purpose of the existence of ELGIGO is to make man become whom God originally created him to become and achieve what was created originally to achieve.


5. FOCUS OF ELGIGO

The ministerial focus, missionary focus, cultural focus, visionary focus, social and spiritual focuses of the ELGIGO is only to know “JESUS” and to make “HIM” known all over the world. Our method is to employ every godly strategy and all available gospel means to introduce Christ and to help people come closer to God through better knowledge of the sacrifice at Calvary. The primary focus of the ELGIGO is to know Christ, who He is, what HE did, what He is doing and all HE will soon do. To know JESUS is the greatest need of the world and also the greatest purpose of the ELGIGO.


6. THE PARISH OF ELGIGO

The parish of ELGIGO is the entire world and where ever man is found. The entire world is the gospel field of ELGIGO to evangelize, to teach, to preach to gather souls for Christ and to build gospel institutions in order to harvest souls for Christ. The entire world is the parish of ELGIGO because ELGIGO is the global ministry for the global harvest. “GO YE into the world and preach the gospel” is the theme of ELGIGO evangelistic movement.


7. MOTTO OF ELGIGO

ELGIGO has only one strong motto and this is seen in Rom 5:8 “That JESUS DIED FOR SINNERS” It is written, that God shows His love towards us, that while we were yet sinners (still in sins) that JESUS died for us. What wonderful, great, incomparable and selfless love and gift that while we were still sinning (Disobeying God), He gave us His only son to die for us, thus, our only motto stands as such short phrase “JESUS DIED FOR SINNERS”.


8. MANDATE TO ELGIGO

ELGIGO has strong mandate from God and that godly mandate is great which involves attempting great thing for God. ELGIGO is mandated by God to build and equip holiness Bible church, to build and equip holiness Bible or theological institutions, to build and to equip orphanage homes, motherless babies homes, Radio ministries, outreach and campaigning ministries, online ministries and theological institutions, hospitals, prayer camps and other gospel institutions. These are mandates and issues that must be done and be accomplished. These issues do not only stand as mandate from GOD, but they also stand as focus, vision, pursuits and the incoming foresight from God in order to reach the world with the WORD.


9. THE PURSUIT OF ELGIGO

Our pursuit is to be holy and to be part taker of the glorious eternity in heaven and to be pure, holy, sanctified in order to please HE who called us. We are of holiness foundation and preach and teach holiness and practice it to the visible observation of all. Our earthly pursuit is to reach heaven at the feet of our Lord and Saviour JESUS Christ. We are on heavenly race, pursuing eternity in heaven with our eyes open and watching for the arrival of JESUS from heaven. We are  not only preaching to reach heaven. Eternity in heaven is our pursuit.


10. MESSAGE OF ELGIGO

The message of El group of international gospel organizations “JESUS SAVES” Mtt. 1:21, therefore, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved Acts 16:31. ELGIGO has no other message, no other sermon, no other teaching, no other doctrine and no other preaching outline than “JESUS SAVES”. El group of international gospel organizations as a gospel institution has nothing else to project, nothing to propagate and nothing to proclaim, than JESUS SAVES and through His sacrificial death at calvary we have eternal life with Him in heaven.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju, the program director, founder, initiator and the president of El group of International gospel organizations has the vision to reach the world with the gospel of our lord JESUS Christ, whose name alone can save the sinners.

El Group of International Gospel Organizations is born to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ wherever man is found. The gospel is spread through the total establishments of gospel preaching churches, theological institutions, orphanage homes, radio ministries, gospel publications, internet preaching, through children’s homes and other nongovernmental organizations.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev Dr Alice Zuriel Ononuju have over fourteen (14) gospel institutions and outreach ministries through which they spread the Biblical messages of life to the world. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife DR Alice Zuriel Ononuju planted the El group of International gospel organizations as a mighty tree that produces much and uncountable gospel fruits and benefits that have blessed and circulated to many parts of the world with rich and positive results, telling people that “JESUS SAVES” Acts 4:11-12.


11. THE MINISTRY OF ELGIGO

El group of international gospel organizations (ELGIGO) is a gospel organization called to preach, teach and to heal Lk 9:1-6, Lk 10:1-16. It is a full gospel house built to carry on the total gospel to the entire world. ELGIGO is called to preach and to do other works as were done by our lord and savior JESUS Christ as shown below.

  1. To carry the gospel where ever man is found.
  2. To know Christ and to make Him known to others.
  3. To convert sinners and to bring them to the true knowledge of Christ.
  4. To heal the sick and to raise the dead.
  5. To bring the believer to the true Bible holiness.
  6. To make the lame and the cripple to walk.
  7. To make the dumb and the deaf hear and speak.
  8. To make the blind see and be free.
  9. To make the slaves to be free and be loosed.
  10. To make the poor hear and receive the gospel.
  11. To care for the poor widows and widowers.
  12. To help and feed the orphans, abandoned babies, motherless babies and others.
  13. To house the strangers and to assist the fatherless.
  14. To care for the childless aged couples and to feed them.
  15. To care for the less privileged people in our society.

12. THE MISSION OF ELGIGO

ELGIGO is a missionary organization built to reach the world with the gospel of life. El group of international gospel organizations is an organization of soul fishery. “I will make you, the fishers of men” Mtt. 4:19, it is the organization of witnessing for Christ Acts 1:8; El group of international gospel organization has mission to accomplish under the earth before the return of JESUS as are state below.

  1. To know JESUS and to make HIM known to others.
  2. To restore faith and faithfulness among the believers.
  3. To make every environment of the world churchable.
  4. To train gospel ministers for the spreading of the TRUTH.
  5. To care for the poor and the less privileged in our society.
  6. To carry out the mercy works of JESUS to all cultures.
  7.  Build orphanage homes, hospitals and prayer camps for the sick.
  8. Build orphanages and children’s homes for the unfortunate babies and infants.
  9. Helping and caring for the poor, the sick and the less privileged.
  10. Showing mercy with deep compassion to the needy.
  11. Restoring the down trodden to what God originally created them to become.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju established ELGIGO as a special missionary boat to reach the entire world with the word of peace and salvation.

13. THE CALL OF ELGIGO

ELGIGO as a gospel boat, as a gospel organization and as a gospel community is called to build, to erect, to equip, to solidify, correct, to rebuke, to rebuild, to strengthen, to establish and to do all that JESUS commanded the church to accomplish shortly before His ascension. It is the New Testament epistle for the growth of the gospel ministry, called to accomplish what JESUS commanded the church to accomplish Mtt. 28:19-20. The call of ELGIGO is summarized as M.A.N. It is called for man, sent to man, directed to man, works for man, works with man and works in man. It is an organization called to convert man, heal man, build man, restore man, help man, care for man, cater for man, sustain man, comfort man, save man, direct man and an organization called to make man whom God originally created him to become.

14. THE MEANING AND MEANS OF ELGIGO

There is no other meaning to the word “ELGIGO” than the gospel, otherwise, we say that the meaning of ELGIGO is the entire gospel, total ELGIGO stands for the total gospel to the entire world. The means of ELGIGO is to use all gospel materials, gospel institutions, gospel publications, gospel applications, gospel propagations, gospel machineries and all gospel equipment to reach the entire world for Christ. ELGIGO uses all available gospel resources to reach the world for Christ.

15. CHALLENGES OF ELGIGO

As a gospel organization and as the boat that carries the good news, El group of international gospel organizations has challenges facing its survival and challenges it is facing to survive. All the challenges seen and unseen are centered in only one thing and that is “HOW SHALL WE REACH THE WORLD WITH THE WORD”? The only answer to this very question covers all the challenges facing this Bible boat of evangelism. In conclusion, therefore, the sleepless, restless and worrisome challenges of the ELGIGO is “HOW TO EVANGELIZE THE WORLD” The challenges of ELGIGO stand as the miracles of ELGIGO, stand as the true courses of ELGIGO, stand as the power of ELGIGO, stand as the programs of ELGIGO and finally stand as the total propagations of the ELGIGO.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju established ELGIGO to make positive gospel impact in the world and to turn world to gospel generation.

The vision and mission of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju are to bring man closer to God and to help man become whom God originally created him to become.

God called Rev Prof Emma Ononuju to build others, equip others, help others, convert others, feed others, care for others, cater for others, heal others, deliver others and become great blessing to others.

EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ORGANIZATIONS is called, built, established and formed to carry the entire gospel to entire world, through godly gospel resources. The administration or management of the El group of international gospel organization is based on the solid rock which is JESUS CHRIST. The functions and total management of the El group of international gospel organizations are gospel based and soul winning oriented.


El group of International gospel ministries is an umbrella that holds all the gospel ministries, Christian outreaches, visions and missions of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev DR (Mrs.) Alice ZurielOnonuju. Every ministry, church or gospel outreach of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife is a part of El group of international gospel ministries and fully attached to it. El group of international gospel ministries is the mother that shelters the rest, it is the house where other ministries of the ONONUJU’s gather. Other gospel ministries founded by the ONONUJUs are parts of El group of international gospel ministries, irrespective of the year of birth, the popularity and when such ministry was established. El group of international gospel ministries was born in 1995, still remains the womb that carries others who were established even before it was established.

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
A course not worthy to die for, is not also worthy to live for. He who cannot die for what he is living for, cannot also live for what he is dying for. The gospel is our course, our task, our cross and our faith, which demands both our lives and our death in order to actualize it, therefore, we live to preach and also preach to live because the gospel is for the world and the world also is for the gospel.

HISTORY OF EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL MINISTRIES
Rev Prof Emma Ononuju was called to preach the gospel with all at his reach, with his power, vision, money, knowledge and with any sincere instrument available to him, thus, he device many gospel means to reach the world for Christ.

The vision of El group of international gospel ministries came to Rev Prof Emma Ononuju when the burden to reach the world with the WORD came to him, which he mapped out different workable plans to propagate the gopel to all creatures according to the Bible.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju strategies of the gospel communication were through oral communications, theological education, literature publication and communication, through church programs, through Christian ministries and through other evangelistic outreaches.

The birth of El group of international gospel ministries came when the lord instructed Rev Prof Emma Ononuju to preach the gospel in due season, out of season and while life remains. This was in 1995 at Aba, Abia State of Nigeria. This revelation moved Rev Prof Emma Ononuju to create different organs of gospel distributions to reach the world for the Lord.

El group of international gospel ministries therefore is a gospel foundation created to reach the world with the gospel of life, through different Biblical and evangelistic outreach programs to reach men.

The purpose of this program is to reach men in their different ways, different lives, and different choices and in their different callings. This method of reaching men include through churching, through Bible college training, through gospel publication, through Christian ministries and through other possible outreach ministries from God.

MAIN BUSINESS
The main business of El group of international gospel ministries is to know Christ and to make Him known. It is fully on evangelism or gospel outreach. The target of the institution is to win God. It is not money making organization but soul winning organization, therefore the supreme task of the organization is soul winning.

THE PURPOSE OF EXISTENCE
El group of international gospel ministries is only existing to spread the gospel where ever man is found through Biblical gospel means. It is not existing if it is not preaching, therefore its purpose of existence is based on Christ’s word “GO YE INTO THE WORLD” it is the engine room to distribute the vision and the mission of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev DR (Mrs.) Alice ZurielOnonuju.

SCOPE OF OPERATION
The world is our parish and human beings are our targets, therefore, the scope of our operation is the four corners of the earth. It is an international program to reach all nations for Christ. It is not for any country and never for any continent, but for the entire world. The scope of the operation of El group of international gospel ministries is the entire world without exception.

PRIMARY FOCUS
The primary focus of El group of international gospel ministries is the salvation of sinners. El group of international gospel ministries is not existing as a body if sinners are not saved, the weak strengthened, the backsliders restored, while the faithful is encouraged, and the church grows. The call is for us today to fully respond, “whom shall we send and who shall go for us? The answer comes “Lord here I am, send me Isa 6:6-8, we are fulfilling the call of God in us.

The name El is the name of God, who is known as ELOHIM, the great God of the Hebrews, the creator of heavens and the earth. The Hebrew address their creator as El or Elohim with respect to His holiness, creative power, love, revelation and to His almighty power in holding the world. Using the word El “simply means that God, the Jehovah who created the heavens and the earth is the supreme owner of all the ministries of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife.
