The orphans, the abandoned children, the sick, widows and the poor are created by God, preserved by God and loved by God. They are full creatures, full human beings and full citizens. They were not created to suffer, neither created to be victims, nor created to be partial human beings. God did not hate them, neither did God make them partial citizens nor forgotten creatures on earth. These people are victims of demonic works, victims of death, victims of life pressures and victims of unfortunate events on earth. Their conditions can change if people with opportunities can care and can help. Abandoned children and orphans can be helped to become leaders and managers, widows can be helped become evangelists, women leaders and great business citizens, while the deformed can be helped to become artisan or skilled people, the sick can be helped to regain their good health. There are many ways to actualize these in the lives of these victims, hence they were not all created to become what they are today. Below are ways to make these people become what GOD originally created them to be.

1. HAVE COMPASSION ON THE VICTIMS

The privileged and the successful citizens should have extra ordinary compassion on the victims of life and all that are oppressed by the hostility of sorrows and bad conditions. The orphans, widows, abandoned children, motherless babies, the poor, the oppressed and all the less privileged persons in our society can be helped. These classes of people should be loved while their conditions shall be seen as burdens to all good spirited individuals in our country.

1. PLAN ON HOW TO HELP THEM

As love enthrones the hearts of the good citizens of this land and good spirited individuals in our cities, the next action is to think on how to help the disabled, the deformed, the orphans and the less privileged people to become good and respectable citizens. The sound and all reasonable people of our nation should think on individual basis about the ways to lift up the burdens of these people while our vision for their survival is a necessity to their survival.

1. LEAD THEM TO CHRIST

People only come to their right mind, to their right senses, to their right existence and to their right activities only when they are saved from sins. People act righteously and reason righteously only when they understand their positions and inheritances in Christ. Joy, hope, satisfaction, faith, peace and love spring out of people when they are in Christ and when they are truly saved. The greatest gift on earth is salvation and whoever gets salvation has achieved all forms of earthly and eternally satisfactions.

 

1. TEACH THEM THE GOSPEL TRUTH

One of the greatest helps to the victims and to the less privileged is to teach them the whole Bible truth, the whole counsel of God by helping them understand the Bible as God’s word, helping them to know how to pray, teach them obedience, impart faith and faithfulness in them, direct them to eternity in heaven and to make the feel alright with JESUS Christ.

1. GIVE THEM HOPE OF SURVIVAL

Every person in one pain or the other is seeking for hope and for any whispering voices of survival. Such person’s heart and ears are open to hear the message of hope and survival. Register hope and survival into their hearts and always make them to believe that they can succeed and can achieve their dreams on earth.

1. GIVE THEIR ABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITES

To help the victims become what God created them to become, their abilities must be given some responsibilities. They must be engaged in skillful, businesses, they must be always busy and should not be idle at all but must be about meaningful businesses always. They must be very diligent and should always push harder with serious efforts to achieve something on earth.

1. CORRECT THEIR NOTIONS

Most of the deformed, the orphans, the poor and the victims of life pressure are discouraged, weak and have lost hope of survival and lost hope of becoming great and also lost all hope of achieving their life dreams. This is very wrong and more oppressive than satan. To restore hope in them and to make their ideas very meaningful, the privileged person in whose hands lie the help to these victims should correct the notions of the victims, correct their notions about failures, correct their notions about riches, correct their notions about poverty, correct their notions about prosperity, correct their notions about success, correct their notions about future issues, correct their notions about their present conditions, correct their notions about life, correct their notions about death, correct their notions about God, correct their notions about their ability and correct their notions about other privileged people in the society.

1. CREATE VISIONS IN THEIR HEARTS

To create vision into the lives and hearts of the less privileged people and make them be success conscious is a great achievement in the community of the poor and the less privileged people. It is a necessity to help them be focused, vision oriented, mission minded and be planning in advance. Help them to be occupied in one business or the other. Make them to have plans of success and progress and help them to pursue such achievable plans to capture them.

1. HELP THEM DESIRE FOR GREATNESS

The victims and the less privileged people should be helped to desire for greatness because they are also born to be great. They should also be helped to seek for whom to help and not always on who shall help them. They must have the desire to be great planted in them and expand their mission fields by seeing themselves fit for all progress. They should also learn how to associate with meaningful and reasonable people through whom they become great at last and rejoice with others. They must have positive value of themselves always.

5O BIBLICAL REASONS WHY THE ORPHANS, THE POOR, THE WIDOWS AND THE ABANDONED CHILDREN SHOULD BE HELPED

There are thousands and hundreds of Biblical reasons why the orphans, the poor, widows and the abandoned children should be helped and cared for, but we only chose the fifty reasons in order to show how important it is for the sound and privileged persons to support and to help the weak and the less privileged persons around us. We also chose these few fifty reasons to show how God attached great importance to such services to humanity. Below are the fifty reasons the victims and the less privileged persons should be helped and be cared for.

1. GOD COMMANDED US TO CARE

The Bible is full of caring and helping. God commanded us to care for one another, to help the sick, the weak and the poor. We shall give and help the victims and the less privileged persons because God commanded us to do so. We are not only created to live, but we are also created to care and to make others live also.

1. IT IS GOD’S METHOD

Giving, caring, helping and protecting lives are God’s method. God always wants us to follow His methods and learn of Him. JESUS came into the world not only to save us from sins but also to show us how to live. God is our example in this and in every other thing. God gave us His son JESUS to save us from our sins and to sustain us for His glory. Helping the poor, the orphans and the less privileged is a great treasure in heaven. It is a means of storing great treasures in heaven where thieves and robbers cannot reach and where destroyers cannot see, therefore giving to support the abandoned children is a great treasure before God and eternal banking in heaven also.

Giving to the poor, widows, motherless babies, the deformed children and to all less privileged people is sowing since the world began, the only means of increasing the seed and the fruit is by sowing. Those who sow on men shall speedily reap their blessings from God.

Blessing and supporting the poor, the sick, the orphans, the childless widows and the deformed children are great sources of body healing, family healing, business healing, spiritual healing and the true sources of all economic healing. God has many ways to respond to the needs of those who support his business.

God placed the key to success in the keeping of His laws and in obeying His commandments. When we obey what God says, HE will open up His treasures of success to us. Helping others in pains and in afflictions attracts Gods presence and shall result to the success of the believer and all that have participated in God’s business.

 

1. BECAUSE IT FOSTERS GOOD HEALTH

Having pity on the poor, supporting the orphanage homes and giving to the abandoned children are God’s method of healing and God’s secret to bestowing good health and sound body functioning to the giver and to the benevolent soul. The Bible says, “He that has pity on the poor has lent to the lord and that which he had given shall the lord pay him again Prov. 19:15.

Long life and peaceful death are among the earthly blessings from God to the believers. Charitable services, benevolent activities and liberal giving and piety which include holy heart, liberal giving to the poor, to the fatherless, to the widows to the strangers and to the less privileged people are God’s pipe lines to elongate the days of the faithful on earth in order to help him accomplish the mission of God and the vision of the giver.

1. BECAUSE IT PRODUCES FAMILY HARMONY

Helping and sponsoring the poor, the sick the orphans and the motherless babies can generate to peace of mind, family harmony and restoration of the family glory and family honour. There is no seed planted in a good ground that cannot germinate and grow. To sponsor an orphanage is to sow in a fertile ground which shall later produce different fruits to the sower.

1. BECAUSE IT DRAWS GOD CLOSER TO THE GIVER

God always comes closer to a person who does His (God’s) will and the person on God’s mission. To give and to sponsor an orphanage home, the helpless widows, the poor sick in the hospitals or the helpless motherless babies are God’s will and God’s businesses and whoever is in such businesses draws God closer to his house, God hears the prayers of those that hear the crying of those in pains and those in agonies.

Biblically, some parts of the Hebrew tithes were for the widows, orphans, fatherless, strangers and for the poor, while the major parts were for the priests, while upon the faithfulness of the people to bring their tithes in order to feed and to care for the windows of heaven for the faithful sponsors of this divine project and pour out His blessings for them because they care (see Mal 3:8-12).

Obedience is the source of peace and freedom. When we obey what God says, He will in turn pay us with peace, freedom and with His presence. The Bible says” when a man’s way pleases the Lord, peace is one of the greatest earthly blessings to man.

It is God’s supreme business to save the body, the soul and spirit, therefore to be involved in charitable works of caring, feeding, protecting and helping the needy are seen as doing God’s business. It is obviously clear and properly stated in the Bible that whoever does God’s business, shall in turn have God doing the business of the person. God shall take on care of the business of anyone that takes care of God’s business of caring for the poor.

1. BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED TO SAVE OTHERS

We are saved from sins in order to make others be saved. Salvation does not only apply to be saved from sins but also means to be saved from sins, from demonic bondages from all demonic oppressions, from manmade afflictions, from sicknesses, from pains and fears and from all the products and fruits of sins. To deliver man from such bondages attracts God’s presence.

1. BECAUSE IT ATTRACTS GREATER REWARDS IN HEAVEN

Our benevolent works, charitable services, selfless works and sacrificial works, helping others in their affliction attract greater rewards in heaven. Rewards of the believers in heaven shall not be equal hence the labours on earth are not equal. To sale all we have and give to the poor according to Lord Jesus attracts greater rewards to the believer who gave to the poor, therefore let’s obey God if we need greater rewards in heaven our eternal home.

1. IT IS THE KEY TO EARTHLY PROSPERITY

The Bible clearly teaches that “Giving” is the key to “receiving” Give and it shall be given unto you Lk. 6:18; those who want to receive and all those who want to get more, be rich be prospered and be in a special book of the lord should give and should sow in the vine yard of the Lord and the best place to sow our good seed here on earth is in God’s vine yard which is either the church, orphanage or a place where the poor and the destitute are cared for like the Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation which you are now reading.

1. BECAUSE IT IS A DIRECT OBEDIENCE TO GOD

God commanded us to feed, house, care and help the fatherless, the sick, the poor, the widows and the orphans in our land and expect His blessings in whatever you are doing. Since the world began, obedience to God’s word has been the key to divine blessing and earthly increase, while disobedience has been the source of curses and pains on earth, therefore caring for the less privileged as God commanded is God’s word that can generate ceaseless blessings to the giver Deut. 11:26-28.

1. BECAUSE IT GENERATES GOD’S FAVOUR

Blessings miracles and special favour from God are attached to selfless services to God and to humanity. Any person who desires to be blessed by God should be involved in charitable and selfless service to God and to man. Favour of God is rooted in love, obedience and acceptance to what God has spoken. God wants us to care, to give and to protect the poor and obedience to theses shall generate favour of God to the adherent.

1. BECAUSE IT IS A SOURCE OF DIVINE CONNECTS

Supporting the abandoned children, orphans and widows is a great source of divine connections. It was God who connected you to see the orphans and the abandoned children and made you help them and to care for them. God who connected you to see the less privileged whom you helped, will equally connect you with another higher fellow who will sponsor you, connect you and build you. This is God’s method of promotion and connection to people.

1. BECAUSE IT IS VISIBLE EXPRESSION OF GOD’S LOVE

Caring for the poor and all the less privileged is an express way to show God’s love to others. God commanded us to love, and the greatest practice of LOVE is giving and caring Jn. 3:16, Rom 5:8, I Jn. 4:8-13. When we love, care and do the works of mercy to all those we are better than, God from His throne will do greater works of mercy to us because He is greater than we are.

 

1. IT IS AN EARTHLY MEANS TO EXPRESS GOD’S MERCY

He who has mercy (compassion) on the poor shall also be favoured and be helped in the day of his affliction. To have mercy and to help the poor is an earthly means to express God’s mercy to others which also attracts God’s great compassion and response in the day of the fears, tears and pains of the giver.

1. BECAUSE IT IS EXAMPLE OF JESUS COMPASSION

Compassion is as strong as favour and grace and they come to man freely and when the receiver never desired it, never deserved it or never worked for it. To help and support the poor and the less privileged people are practical examples of Jesus compassion that attract greater favour and compassion from God to the man and all in such businesses.

1. IT IS SELFLESS SERVICE LIKE JESUS

JESUS came into the world to die for sinners and to give his life as a sacrifice to others. This is a selfless service that never expect immediate reward from the receiver. Those who support, give and help the poor widows, the orphans and the less privileged are doing what JESUS did and they shall receive their rewards not from their receivers but from God alone and they shall receive a hundred fold of what they gave.

1. BECAUSE IT IS OBEDIENCE TO THE BIBLE INSTRUCTION

When we obey the Bible, we are directly obeying God because the Bible is the word of God. The Bible instructed us to be obedient and when we obey what Bible says we shall prosper and be great. The Bible commands us to give and to support the poor and the widows and when we do these in obedience to God’s word, we prosper and be blessed according to God’s word. Deut. 28:1-4.

1. BECAUSE IT IS OUR CROSS TO BEAR

Every believer must have his or her own cross to bear for the lord and such cross is the only secret of our crown. Those who want to be receiving blessings from the Lord must have one way or the other where they must be spending for God. This is a balanced theology and balanced ideology too. To spend in an orphanage homes or any other charitable organization is very ideal and beneficial to the giver too.

1. BECAUSE IT IS THE BIBLE FULFILMENT, TO BEAR ONE ANOTHER’S BURDEN

To bear one another’s burden is the Bible principle and scriptural commandment. To lift others from their pains, afflictions and sufferings attract the presence and power of God to the pains, afflictions and sufferings of the faithful. Do others according to the way you want others to do to you is JESUS vivid expression in matters like this.

1. THIS IS THE CLOSET MEANS OF SAVING LIVES

The closest or nearest means of saving the lives of those who should have been perished in hunger, in their pains and in their misfortunes is by going to them, knowing their pains and afflictions and seeking possible ways to solve them. To solve such problems demands caring, feeding, helping and protecting them, which in turn shall result to the blessings, favour and the protection of the giver or the sponsors.

 

1. BECAUSE IT IS THE SHORTEST MEANS OF SAVING SOULS

The shortest means of saving the souls of the young widows who should have been destroyed by the sin of harlotry the orphans and the abandoned who should have been destroyed by the sin of smoking and drunkenness and the lives of the less privileged which should have been destroyed by the sin of fear and inferiority complex is to care, teach, train and to convert them for Christ which this organization is doing. It will be a follow up blessings to anyone who shall be a member and sponsor of this organization to do the same work.

1. BECAUSE IT IS A MEANS OF MAKING OTHERS SURVIVE

We are all born to survive, but to help others survive is an extra service to our survival program. To build and to support the orphanage where the motherless babies are cared for where the orphans and the abandoned children are cared for, is a great job of making others to survive which in turn shall produce long life, good health and peace to the adherent and to his family members in particular.

1. BECAUSE WE ARE CREATED TO BUILD OTHERS

Everybody is a builder, but the question depends on whom and what one is building, if one is not building for God, the one maybe building for self or for satan. We are all created to build others and to make others to survive and to stand. The literal and visible means of building are the word of God (food for soul) and the visible food, teaching and other edible things that can sustain both the body and the souls and all these demand cash, clothing and other gifts to the poor and orphans.

1. WE ARE CALLED TO HELP OTHERS

If one is not a blessing to others, the ones existence is in vain. The greatest investment on earth is that which is invested in man and the greatest activity on earth is that which is a blessing to others and this cannot be possible without having the burden to help others and to support those in one affliction or the other. To support the aged childless couples, the deformed and the poor is a great treasure on earth and in heaven.

1. WE ARE ALL CALLED TO GIVE

Giving to others in turn shall generate, receiving from others Lk 6:38. Everyone is called to give, to support and to sponsor the poor, the sick, the weak and all in one pain or the other, all in one distress or the other, all in one tension or the other and all in one suffering or the other. Such giving attracts God’s attention to the giver.

1. WE ARE ALL CREATED TO SUPPORT

It is a useless life and meaningless existence for man to live many years alone and die without a history of supporting others and without history of investing on men. Life is nothing but meeting the needs of others. Supporting others is using your possessions to fight others oppressions. Supporting others especially the poor, the sick, the orphans and the less privileged is a permanent record that often appears in the living and eternal record of the supporters.

1. BECAUSE WE ARE CREATED TO LOVE

Love is the greatest, the first attitude of love is giving, the second is sacrifice, the third is selflessness, and the fourth attitudes is suffering for others.
